Vendor Hannspree has launched an affordable smartwatch that tracks weight loss, sleep and more.
The £29.99 wearable – which is available through Entatech – pairs with a users’ smartphone via Bluetooth, delivering notifications and assisting in everyday activities.
It boasts an on-board pedometre that tracks movement, predicts calorie intake for the day, monitors sleeping patterns as well as all the other features one could expect from a smartwatch.
The device is compatible with both Android and iOS devices, and pairs with a free downloadable app that enables the user to review up to 20 days worth of data collected to encourage healthier living.
The wearable also receives message and call notifications, as well as reminders, and benefits from a five to eight day battery life, G Sensor, alarm clock and a 0.68-inch OLED display.
In other news, a study from Apadmi found that smartwatches are the most in demand pieces of wearable tech in the UK.
40 per cent of people asked said that they would most likely buy a smartwatch, compared to just 28 per cent who would purchase a fitness tracker, 23 per cent who would prefer smart glasses and 18 per cent who’d prefer smart clothing.
Hannspree’s new smartwatch can also be seen at this year’s PCR Boot Camp – so make sure your name is down to attend.
