Customers can now get their hands on their very own personalised smartphone case, thanks to Case Station.
IDT Systems, a company who specialises in 2D and 3D decoration solutions, has launched the service, where users can get an image printed of their beloved pet companion or even add text for branding.
PCR had the chance to try out the new service, which didn’t disappoint.
There is a great selection of cases available from the iPhone 6 and Google’s Nexus 5/7, to the Samsung Galaxy S4 and S5, plus there are also cases for the iPad Air and Mini.
Once we uploaded an image to the site, we just had to pick which phone case we needed, (we opted for the Samsung Note 2) and it was as simple as that.
Case Station is also bringing this service to the High Street, where users will be able to preview their personalised case in augmented reality.
Peter Woodd, CEO of IDT Systems, said: “We are excited by the launch of Case Station, a new retail solution bringing personalisation and augmented reality to the retail market, offering a customer experience that has never been seen before.
“Consumers already customise the apps and settings of their phone, now we offer the solution for them to personalise their case in under three minutes. We see huge value and revenue potential for retailers offering this service from their stores, 24/7/365 online or from a mobile device.”
IDT Systems has also collaborated with Google on Project Ara, to help deliver personalised modules for the program. Cases cost between £19.99 to £24.99 and postage is free.
