Pornhub has announced its debut wearable tech device, and Durex has teased what it says is a ‘game-changing product’ for the orgasm (Not Safe For Work).
It was only a matter of time before someone began sodomising wearable technology. There will always be someone who manages to find a naughty use for seemingly innocent objects.
In this case Pornhub, who has introduced a charger that is worn on the wrist. That doesn’t sound too risqué, you say? Well…
The WankBand wraps around the users’ wrist and charges itself via kinetic energy… Figured it out yet?
The device can then be used to charge up other gadgets (that are presumably running out of battery due to the amount of porn being watched on them).
Alternatively the user could make rude hand gestures at people, which would also do the job – but I wouldn’t recommend it.
Durex is also making moves – thrusting movements I’d imagine – into the tech world as it teases an upcoming digital project that it says will “revolutionise our sex lives”.
The sexual wellbeing company has introduced Durexlabs, its first step into the digital space. The lab plans to embrace the changes in social behaviour including the ways in which we get intimate, and mobile technology.
The company has described its new mystery gadget as a “game changing product and a technical breakthrough” that will help users reach orgasm. It’s expected to be revealed next week.
Richard Arnold, head of research and development at Durex, said: “With our deep understanding of arousal and the impulses involved, it was only natural for us to look at how we could combine this with digital technology.
“We took inspiration from modern habits and our ever growing reliance on portable technology for virtually everything in day-to-day life and our market research has identified a genuine desire for this technology in our sex lives.”
