Tech Data’s audiovisual business unit TDMaverick has announced a trio of key appointments.
Shaun Elliott joins the unit as sales director with responsibility for Maverick’s growth within the industry.
The education division has also been bolstered with the appointment of Simon Millidge as education channel manager.
In addition, Carmel Keightley takes on the role as marketing manager at Maverick after previously working in the public sector team.
Keightley will now be responsible for the company’s customer focused campaigns and supporting business growth for both professional AV and B2B resellers.
Simon Fagan, director of Maverick UK, said: “We grew significantly last year and we have shown how effective we can be in driving and supporting development for our partners and customers.
“With the experience and expertise they bring, Shaun, Simon and Carmel will add even more energy and enthusiasm to our team and enable us to evolve and enhance the strategic focus of our business.”
Maverick also plans to encourage more resellers to exploit the opportunities available with AV solutions in the wider business market.
This news comes after Tech Data was named Microsoft OEM Partner of the Year for the EMEA region.
