Tablet and smartphone vendor Prestigio has laid out an ambitious retail strategy as it officially launches in the UK.
Martin MacNamara, sales director at the manufacturer of mobile devices, consumer electronics and accessories, said: "Our focus in the coming months is to open as many new accounts as possible, which thus far is turning out to be very successful, with the likes of JD Williams, Rymans and Maplin Electronics on board already.
"Our goals are simple, to obtain market share, to make profit, and ensure our retailers have the best products and pricing available to them.
"We have some incredible products, of which some are already major award winners, and we want these successes to be readily available here in the UK. Competition within this industry is fierce on all fronts but we are well equipped with both outstanding products, and people within, to ensure we hit the market successfully."
Prestigio is represented by 32 offices and sold in 84 counties. Headquartered in Limassol, Cyprus, Prestigio’s model focuses on "offering luxury and cutting-edge technologies aimed at competing with the high-end market".
So far Prestigio has three key account managers – Marcin Harasim, Hamish Munton and Martin MacNamara.
