Panasonic Visual Solutions has launched a new partner training academy for resellers, system integrators, AV rental firms and distributors.
The Panasonic training programme includes several levels to develop product knowledge and gain certifications.
Split between projectors and display (which have three and two levels respectively), Panasonic partners can engage in free online training sessions through the Academy portal to gain ‘Visual Professional’ certification.
When this level of certification is attained, face-to-face training is made available to gain ‘Expert’, and then ‘Advanced Expert’ (projector only) certification, which takes place at the Panasonic European headquarters in Wiesbaden, Germany.
Panasonic European training manager Siegmar Küll said: "Greater product knowledge is always a significant asset to any business. It’s the basis for more efficient, more accurate customer service, for creating opportunities to upsell and cross-sell, and for establishing a tangible advantage over the competition.
“The projector Advanced Expert training, for example, offers participants deeper knowledge on special functions such as edge blending, colour matching, portrait mode, laser technology, geometric adjustment with our high brightness projectors.”
