Samsung will allegedly power the majority of the next-generation iPhones from Apple.

The Korean firm will supply 75 per cent of Apple’s upcoming A9 chip for the next phone device from the company.

Reports from South Korean newspaper Maeil Business, says that the processors will be produced at Samsung’s factory in Austin, Texas.

Samsung was also responsible for creating the A7 SoC powering the iPhone 5S two years ago.

This news comes after rumours suggested that the Apple Watch will launch at the end of March.
