Distributor VIP has released details of its new returns policy.
The policy runs across the whole of the company’s product range, which includes the likes of Dell, Razer and Synology.
The update, which is already in effect, ensures faulty stock returned to VIP will now be credited back to the consumer at market value, rather than offering a replacement.
The new policy also covers all products for the lifetime of their warranty period, including Asus motherboards.
Duncan McAuley, director at VIP, said: “We previously had a range of policies across our vendor portfolio but these have been replaced with one simple and straightforward agreement which makes dealing with VIP even easier.
“We are always looking for ways to improve our customer experience and this revision to our returns policy is hopefully another tick in the box”.
Vendors with an on-site warranty or who offer a direct RMA process to resellers/end-users would not be covered – these include:
·ASUS Notebooks / Tablets / Systems / Monitors
This news comes after VIP announced it will be distributing Razer’s Nabu X.
The smartband will cost £49.99 and will be available in black.
