New product roundup: Philips launches 27-inch display and Kingston unveils ultra high-speed micro SD

This week’s latest product roundup features a set of water resistant headphones and some new devices you may have missed from CES 2015.

MMD has announced a new 27-inch IPS-AHVA Philips display. It features 10-bit colours, SmartUniformity and flicker-free technology. It is available now for £649.

The GeForce GTX 980 graphics card has been unveiled by PNY. It comes equipped with a latest-generation Nvidia GPU and an 8-phase PWM. It is priced at £449.99 and is available now.

Be Quiet has launched two new coolers at CES 2015, called Dark Rock TF and Shadow Rock LP. Both will be available at the end of March.

SanDisk introduces new affordable SSDs to help boost the performance of a tablet, PC and laptop. The SanDisk SSD Plus will be available in Q1 2015 in 120GB and 240GB capacities. The SanDisk Ultra II mSATA SSD will also be available in Q1 2015 in a range of capacities, including 128GB, 256GB and 512GB.

This week Oki refreshes its lineup of mono printers with the launch of the B412dn, B432dn and B512dn single function printers and the MB472dnw, MB492dn and MB562dnw multifunction printers.

Veho has released a set of water resistant headphones this week. The ZS-2 is available now and features a 3.5mm AUX jack with an IP64 rating.

Linksys has expanded its WRT product family with a new 2×2 Wireless AC router, Network Storage Bay and High-Gain Antennas. This year sees the Dual Band WRT1200AC join Linksys portfolio, featuring a dual core processor, wireless speeds up to 1.3Gbps, USB 3.0, Gigabit Ethernet and Gigabit WAN ports.

In addition, Kingston Digital has released an ultra high-speed microSD for 4K and HD video capture. It has 90MBs read and 80MBs write speeds and comes in 16GB, 32GB, 64GB variants.

XMG has released the U505 and U705 laptops. They are the latest addition to the Ultimate series range and offer Intel processors and 32GB of RAM. The U505 starts from £1119 and the U705 starts from £1185 and are available now.

StarTech has released the AV Connectivity Box, which comes with VGA, HDMI, Ethernet and Mini DP connections. The unit requires one HDMI cable to convert the audio and visual content to the multitude of inputs on the box automatically. Pricing for the AV Box is £220.

A dual-core processor is featured in Synology’s new 1-bay NAS server. The DS115 has read speeds of 111MBs and write speeds of 104MBs and comes equipped with a USB 3.0 port. Synology DiskStation DS115 is now shipping globally.

Lastly, ZeroLemon has announced the release of its new iPhone case, which can triple the battery life with a 4600mAh capacity. On a single full charge and with moderate usage, the case is expected to last about 60 hours.
