Latest Grand Theft Auto game pushed back until March

GTA 5 delayed on PC, system specs listed

The PC version of Grand Theft Auto V (GTA 5) has been delayed from January 27th to March 24th.

Developer Rockstar Games said in a blog post: "Our apologies for the slight shift in the date but the game requires a few extra weeks of testing and polish to make it as good as can be.

"Moving a release date is never a decision we take lightly and is a choice we make only when we know it is in the best interests of the game and our fans. Thanks everyone for your understanding and we assure you these few extra weeks will be worth it when the game does arrive in March."

Rockstar promised GTA 5 for PC would feature ‘greater levels of detail’, with the game running at 1080p and 60 frames per second with up to 4K resolution and triple-monitor support with Nvidia 3D Vision.

The PC version includes a Rockstar Editor which lets gamers create and publish gameplay clips to Social Club and YouTube, plus GTA Online will launch alongside the game, which can support up to 30 players and includes GTA Online Heists.
