Acer appoints new UK country manager

Acer has appointed Gavin Parrish as country manager in the UK and Ireland, replacing Marco Andresen.

Andresen is moving up to the position of associate vice president, EMEA PBU division, and will be based in the company’s headquarters in Switzerland.

Parrish joined Acer in 2011 with the title of consumer and B2B business unit director, overseeing the UK’s P&L, defining business strategy and increasing market shares for Acer’s consumer and professional solutions.

He will now be responsible for maintaining momentum and growth in the UK and Ireland.

Prior to Acer, Parrish was in a management position at HP and Kimberly-Clark. Andresen, who also joined in 2011, moved from country manager in Sweden to the UK, and now to his new role.
