CES 2015: Lenovo unveils X1 Carbon to celebrate one hundred millionth ThinkPad

Lenovo has announced its latest ThinkPad portfolio, which includes the X1 Carbon ultrabook.

To celebrate 22 years and one hundred million ThinkPad units, Lenovo has designed what it claims is the lightest 14-inch ultrabook in the world, weighing under 2.9 pounds.

Other features include a super bright FHD display, PCle SSD, and 5th gen Intel Core processors.

The X1 Carbon was announced at CES 2015, along with a number of other ThinkPad products, including the ThinkVision X24 – a 23.8-inch panel with Full HD, wide 178-degree viewing angle, and DisplayPort or HDMI digital connectivity.

As well as this, Lenovo unveiled theThinkPad Stack – a 10,000 mAh Power Bank for tablets and smartphones.

The ThinkPad X1 Carbon starts at £1235 and will be available from January 2015, the ThinkVision X24 will be available from April 2015 and starts at $249, UK pricing is still to be confirmed.

The ThinkPad T550, starting at £1115
