TV campaign featuring Rufus Jones will run for a full year from January 2015 sponsors Dave in £2.8m deal has announced its first TV sponsorship campaign with UK TV channel Dave.

The deal – worth £2.8 million – is set to run from January 2015 for a year, with sponsoring the ‘Weekends on Dave’ slot.

The campaign has been named ‘Big on Tech’ and features miniature toy character models interacting with a range of technology devices. One such scenario features toy models posing in a steam mop sauna, fighting the ‘eternal evils’ of power outage and standing on top of a large speaker at a rock concert. 

Ebuyer has also secured a deal with English actor, writer and artist Rufus Jones to voice the parts of the toy characters. 

The campaign will be shown before and after shows on Dave between 9pm and 2am on weekends, as well as different slots during Saturday and Sunday daytime.

This news comes after revealed that it broke sales records during Black Friday. The etailer told PCR that almost one order was taken every second on the day.
