Toshiba launches new enterprise SSDs

Toshiba Electronics Europe is launching two new enterprise solid state drives.

The eSSDs come equipped with power loss and end-to-end data protection features – and incorporate Toshiba’s proprietary Quadruple Swing-by Code (QSBC) error-correction technology, which assists in the protection of customer data.

The Value Endurance HK3E2 has been crafted for enterprise applications such as exchange mail, web, database and indexing servers as well as data storage workloads.

The Read Intensive HK3R2 is designed more for read intensive applications and workloads like caching, video streaming and data centre storage.

Martin Larsson, VP of Toshiba Electronica Europe, commented: “The HK3E2 and HK3R2 Series address different application requirements but offer the same platform commonality to help customers leverage testing and minimise redundant qualification activity.”
