Ingram Micro receives Emerson Network Power award

Ingram Micro has announced that it has been named EMEA Innovation Partnership Program Distributor of the Year 2014, by Emerson Network Power.

The award recognsises the distributor’s efforts in growing and expanding its business with Emerson Network Power.

Julian Thompson, director of advanced solutions at Ingram Micro, said: “Emerson Network Power is an extremely important vendor in our Advanced Solutions portfolio and this is reflected in the investment we have made in increasing our sales strength to support the reach of Emerson products and solutions amongst our customer base.”

In other news, the distributor has announced the partnership of Wavex Technology and Cobweb solutions through its VentureTech Network.

The partnership will open up new revenue opportunities for Cobweb Solutions in providing managed services to end-users in London.

Mark Davies, director of Cobweb Solutions, said: “Partnering with Wavex will enable us to broaden our service offering with the provision of managed services and infrastructure support to our existing 6,000 end user customers and new clients.”

Mark Williams, director of Wavex, added: “This type of collaboration is such great validation for Ingram Micro’s VTN programme and proof that the appetite for partnership is thriving amongst our reseller members.”
