Apple Watch rumoured to launch spring 2015

The Apple Watch will allegedly be launching in the spring of next year, according to reports.

In a video message sent out to retail employees, Angela Ahrendts, Apple’s senior vice president of retail and online stores, revealed that the watch will be launching later than expected in 2015, reports 9to5Mac.

During the video message Ahrendts apparently said: “We’re going into the holidays, we’ll go into Chinese New Year, and then we’ve got a new watch launch coming in the spring."

When the watch was first revealed in September, the firm announced that it would ship early next year.

During the video message Ahrendts also explained that employees should conserve their energy for the upcoming holiday season.

This news comes after various tech suppliers reported that they are unsure about Apple’s distribution plans for the Apple Watch.

The Apple Watch features a Retina sapphire crystal display and a stainless steel/black stainless steel case and will retail at $349.
