Moto 360 smartwatch to get limited released in UK at 12pm GMT

Motorola is making its first smartwatch, the Moto 360, available in the UK from 12pm today.

Those who have registered their interest in the wearable tech have been receiving emails revealing that the device will be available online today with limited stock.

Whether the idea is to increase demand for the product by limiting stock, or an attempt to test out the water before a full-blown release, remains to be seen.

Those interested in the Moto 360 can buy it from Motorola UK here (the link will go live at 12PM GMT)

The Moto 360 smartwatch features a circular screen, which thanks to Android Wear, will display contextually-aware information such as nearby points of interest, the weather and sports results.

There will be a choice of either a metal or leather strap and the device also supports voice recognition.

Other specs include wireless charging, TI OMAP 3 processor, heart rate monitor, Bluetooth, 4GB of internal storage and 512MB of RAM.
