Microsoft offers unlimited OneDrive storage to Office 365 subscribers

Microsoft has introduced a number of new updates to its cloud offerings, including unlimited OneDrive storage.

All Office 365 customers will now get unlimited OneDrive storage at no additional cost.

The offer is available now and can be used by Office 365 Home, Personal and University customers.

For OneDrive for Business customers, Microsoft will begin updating the First Release customers in 2015.

The firm also announced new cloud services, mobility solutions, APIs, tools and an expanded ecosystem for partner solutions ‘all designed to help IT professionals and developers compete and thrive in today’s mobile-first, cloud-first world’.

These include a number of updates to Azure, designed to automate and streamline IT operations. There are also security enhancements to Azure Virtual Machines and Cloud Services.

Microsoft also announced management, security, privacy and compliance enhancements for the Enterprise Mobility Suite and Office 365, as well as new APIs and tools that allow developers to access the Office 365 API and create new productivity applications using the platforms, tools and devices of their choice.

There is also an expanded Cloud OS network and a new Azure Certified for Application Services program.
