Industry execs gathered to celebrate female role models in the PC and tech business last Friday (October 17th) – and enjoy an afternoon of networking.
You voted Dell UK’s Sarah Shields as PCR Woman of the Year, but many others attended (both men and women) to celebrate women in technology, including Nancy Hammervik, CompTIA’s senior VP for industry relations, who gave a talk about the importance of women in IT, as well as several retailers, vendors and distributors.
The event was organised following the success of PCR’s Top 50 Women in Tech article earlier this year, with Entatech on board as headline partner, and Acer and CompTIA both event partners.
