Tech Data has launched a series of Virtual Hospital rooms, assisting sales for resellers within the healthcare sector.
The distributor has created a Virtual Ward, Consulting Room and Waiting Room, with products specific to each room.
These virtual rooms will also give resellers the ability to learn about new products and solutions available.
Stewart Hayward, marketing services director at Tech Data, said: “The Virtual Hospital environments will be a really useful selling tool that resellers can use when discussing the options with potential customers."
Tech Data’s Azlan arm has also announced plans to be the first HP distribution partner for HP’s new ProLiant Generation 9 (Gen9) servers.
The Gen 9 portfolio increases compute capacity and efficiency, as well as the speed of IT service delivery and application performance in the data center.
Andy Dow, UK head of the HP Enterprise business, added: “Azlan will be ready to support HP resellers in making the most of that opportunity – to engage with customers on data center planning and ultimately to grow their business in this critical area of the market.”
This news comes after Azlan hired a new team to help its resellers sell Cisco products.
The new team is part of the Momentum Programme, which started over two years ago.
