Devices are expected to be unveiled today at Apple’s event

Apple leaks iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 images

Images of Apple’s alleged upcoming iPad Air 2 and Mini 3 have been leaked, ahead of their official launch.

Screenshots of the manufacturer’s iPad User Guide for iOS 8.1 taken by 9to5Mac, featured images of the latest devices.

The images show that each device features a Touch ID fingerprint scanner, while the iPad Air 2 includes Burst Mode, which lets users take ‘rapid-fire’ photos.

The leaked images also showed almost identical designs to the older iPad models, however, an additional gold colour option is included.

Specs of the iPad Air 2 were also previously leaked, suggesting the model would feature a fully laminated display, and is said to be 0.5mm slimmer than the previous iPad models.

The iPad Air 2 will also allegedly feature an A8 processor, 2GB of RAM and an 8MP rear camera.

Apple is expected to reveal the iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 at an event taking place later today, along with new Macs and further details on its OS X Yosemite.

This news comes after Apple suppliers suggested that Apple has delayed production of a second, larger iPad model until early next year.
