Apple is expected to unveil the iPad Air 2 this month, and reports suggest early specs for the device have been leaked.
The iPad Air 2 will allegedly feature a fully laminated display, and is said to be 0.5mm slimmer than the previous iPad models, reports The Michael Report.
Rumours also suggest that the iPad Air 2 is set to be the slimmest tablet on the market.
Other features include a redesigned speaker grille, recessed volume buttons and relocated microphones – from the top of the device next to the back camera module and on the side – plus a new gold colour option.
It is also alleged to include an A8 processor, 2GB of RAM, an 8MP rear camera, a FaceTime HD front-facing camera and Touch ID fingerprint button with ApplePay functions.
The report also suggests that the model will be available in both 32GB, 64GB and 128GB versions.
This news comes after Apple launched the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus last month, and revealed the Apple Watch wearable device.
Both phones feature a Retina HD display, A8 processor, as well as ApplePay.
