PCR speaks to Zotac’s marketing manager about his favourite gadgets and most memorable games console from childhood…
What was your favourite video games console while you were growing up?
I can remember it like it was yesterday. When I first knew that the Nintendo NES console was in the house, I was excited to go to sleep early and wake up early to play it.
The excitement was too much and I spent all night thinking of the games I’ll be playing the next morning and never slept a wink.
I didn’t get to play much either, since my older siblings were hogging all the fun and all I could do was watch them play and fight for the controller.
Are you playing any PC games at the moment?
Not at the moment, but would you consider work on a PC as a kind of game? I consider finishing a project like getting an in-game achievement.
What’s the one gadget you can’t live without?
Is email considered a gadget? If not, then the next best thing would be my smartphone.
What would you like to see more of in the industry?
I don’t know. I’ll let the gaming industry figure that out. Make me something I can’t refuse to play.
iOS or Android?
What no Blackberry or Windows? I’d pick iOS anyway because it’s so easy to use.
