Samsung CEO to deliver keynote at CES 2015

Samsung president and CEO Boo-Keun Yoon will discus the Internet of Things and Samsung’s vision for the smart home at CES 2015.

Yoon will deliver the keynote address at 6:30PM on Monday, January 5th in the Palazzo Ballroom in the Venetian.

“Samsung is widely known for its disruptive technologies and business models, and has been one of the fastest growing CE brands in the world,” said Gary Shapiro, president and CEO, CEA.

“Samsung amazes at each CES with its innovative products spanning the entire tech ecosystem. We welcome Boo-Keun Yoon back to the keynote stage for the 2015 CES.”

Samsung’s latest phablet, the Galaxy Note 4, is available to pre-order in the UK from today (September 19th).

At the beginning of the week, Samsung launched a new advert for the Note 4, in which it called Apple’s iPhone 6 Plus an imitation of its phablet range.

This is not the only time this month that Samsung has taken a dig at Apple. Less than 24 hours after the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus were unveiled, the firm released six mini adverts mocking some of the technical issues that Apple had during it’s event as well as some of the features of the new devices.
