Anticipated hybrid gaming product due to launch in October priced at around £170

Cooler Master Novatouch TKL keyboard price and release date confirmed

PCR has grabbed an exclusive first look and details of the anticipated Novatouch TKL hybrid switch keyboard, including its UK price and release date.

Cooler Master says the device will launch this October priced at around £170.

The tenkeyless keyboard features a new switch type – Topre-style hybrid electro capacitive Japanese switches, rather than typical mechanical switches. It’s a high-end keyboard targeting gamers and other users.

Cooler Master’s UK marketing specialist Chris Gough says the firm has made this Topre-style switch compatible with standard gamer keycaps, and likened it to ‘a Ferrari that is compatible with less expensive Ford Focus tyres’.

This is to give the keyboard a softer, quieter key click that can deal with heavy-duty presses – ideal for more passionate gamers.

And it allows gamers to switch the keycaps out with their own standard gaming keycaps.

The Novatouch TKL keyboard will be distributed by Entatech to retailers in the UK.
