PC components vendors have praised distributor Entatech for its push into PC gaming.
Enta earlier this year said it was the leading distie in that space, and last week added it was enjoying growth in the gaming sector, with more vendors on board.
It held its Entalive Play trade show at the Ricoh Arena last week and vendors were pleased with the day.
Adrian Liu, UK channel marketing manager at Cooler Master UK, said: "It’s been a real eye-opener for us, we’re very new to Entatech and their customer base so we’re very happy to be here and look forward to future events.”
Carl Silberski, CEO of Mionix, added: "We think it’s a great event (especially if you’re from Sweden) but we want to make it 10 times louder at the next EntaLive Play event."
Lewis Clifford, senior account manager UK for iiyama International, commented: "I think a lot of delegates appreciate what iiyama brought to the event but over and above that, even our co-vendors have brought lot to see, a lot to learn and a great deal to take away. I think all of the resellers have been very impressed.”
Gavin Pitt, UK sales manager at XFX Europe, said: "It’s good to see that resellers are turning up to an event like this, are interested in gaming – which is key – so they understand where gaming’s going in the industry and want to jump onboard with what XFX is doing and where we want to go with gaming. It’s good to get some sort of synergy with the resellers and Entatech moving forward.”
Mad Catz’ national account manager Wayne George commented: "An excellent event put on by Entatech and the team. Mad Catz have supported several of these events over the last couple of years and this is the best yet – they seem to go from strength to strength."
Finally, Microsoft’s OEM team partner sales specialist Triston Brade added: "As our number one OEM and server distributor, we do expect them to put on events like this and this one has been particularly great.”
