Leaked images of the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, purport to show some of the specs expected to feature within the new model.
TecMundo published the image, which shows a variety of specs including a 12MP rear camera and a 2.1MP front camera, 4.7-inch amoled display and 2GB of RAM.
Other specs include 32GB of storage, a fingerprint sensor, nano SIM and a heart rate monitor.
This news comes as other photos were leaked showing the new design of the Alpha.
Images posted via Weibo showed that the device had a metal frame and rounded edges, as well as appearing to be slightly smaller than the company’s flagship S5.
In other news, Samsung has reportedly started to work on a three-sided display for mobile phones, with sources reporting that the device could go into production by the end of the year.
During the company’s second-quarter earnings conference, Hyeon Jun, executive manager at Samsung’s wireless business division, hinted at a new device.
He said: "While I cannot mention specifics, we are planning on unveiling an innovative large-screen flagship model, an attractive phone that takes advantage of cutting-edge materials."
