Exertis Micro-P launches Exertis VAD Solutions, signs Audio Pro

Distributor Exertis Micro-P has launched Exertis VAD Solutions – a security, Unified Communications (UC), specialist software and services proposition for resellers.

Exertis VAD Solutions will consist of pre-sales support, product training, installation and post-sales support.

The launch marks the final stages of the integration of Cohort, and ‘merges its specialist knowledge with the national reach of Exertis Micro-P’.

Resellers will have access to Exertis Professional Services (EPS), which offers support and assistance from the early stages of the sales cycle, with product webinars, on-site demonstrations and telephone assistance. In addition, a Proof of Concept (POC) Service helps partners introduce and deliver new products and solutions to prospective clients.

Live on-site testing is offered, as well as a 24×7 TAC Service, plus Managed Services, vendor-endorsed training and on-site deployment.

Exertis VAD Solutions represents solutions from vendors including Dell, Samsung, NEC, Lakeside Software, IP Cortex, Citrix, Guest Air, Code Green Software, Centrify, Alien Vault, Intel, Kemp, Sangfor, Shoretel, McAfee, Forescout, Venafi and VASCO.

Exertis VAD Solutions MD Grahame Smee said: "The opportunity for security, UC, specialist software and services is flourishing. Exertis VAD Solutions provides a comprehensive package carefully designed to ensure that our reseller partners have all the resources and support they need to respond effectively and knowledgeably to this demand. We believe Exertis VAD Solutions will help our reseller partners both open up and drive new revenue opportunities.”

In other Exertis Micro-P news, the distributor has signed Audio Pro’s range of home audio loudspeakers.

The hi-fi solutions include wired and wireless products with prices ranging from £199 to £1,300.

Audio Pro’s range works with all music players. Customers can also enjoy any player installed on their computer or portable unit, irrespective of whether the music comes from Spotify, iTunes, Winamp, Wimp, Grooveshark or Rhapsody.

Depending on the model of loudspeaker, features like House Codes enables users to have up to three separate audio networks in their home, using three different transmitters. This enables different music to be listened to in different rooms at the same time, or users can listen to the same music in all rooms.

Meanwhile, MultiRoom and Volume Zone let users divide each House Code into three different volume zones, enabling one volume setting in the living room, another in the kitchen, and a third in the bedroom.

Chris Martin, Audio Business Manager at Exertis Micro-P, commented: "Audio Pro combines the best in Swedish engineering and elegant design to create a range of loudspeakers that simply ooze desirability. The company’s ethos is to offer the best sound at the best price, which ensures that the Audio Pro experience is able to be enjoyed and shared by many. Those are some of the reasons we’re really enthusiastic about these products and are keen to start briefing our resellers and retail partners on the fantastic opportunity they present.”
