The Galaxy S5 Mini has been officially announced by Samsung.
The compact version of Samsung’s latest flagship smartphone comes with a 4.5-inch 720×1280 HD Super AMOLED display.
Other specs include a Quad Core 1.4GHz processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, Android 4.4 KitKat, 8MP rear camera, 2.1MP front camera, and a 2,100mAh battery.
The S5 Mini also comes with the same fitness tools, LTE connectivity, Ultra Power Saving Mode and fingerprint scanner as the flagship model.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini will be available in Russia starting in early July and will expand to global markets.
At launch, the device will be available in four colours, black, white, blue and gold.
Last week, Samsung announced that its Galaxy Tab S tablet will be available in the UK from Friday, July 4th.
The Galaxy Tab S comes with a WQXGA (2560×1600, 16:10) Super AMOLED display, either an Exynos 5 Octa or Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, Android KitKat 4.4, 8MP rear facing camera, 2.1MP front facing camera and a starting price of £319.
