Liverpool-based IT trade supplier Brunswick Computers has branched into the B2C sector by launching its own etail website WildArc.
The site has been in development for more than 18 months and sells a range of tech including computers, components, monitors, gaming products, software, networking, office products, TVs and more.
Sales and marketing manager Liam Edwards told PCR that Brunswick is expanding into the retail sector by launching WildArc, relaunching its eBay store and selling on Amazon.
"My role at Brunswick Computers was created to focus on and develop the B2C aspect of the business," he said. "I have worked closely with over 750 UK retail and etail customers in the UK – this has given me a vast knowledge within the market at vendor and distribution level.
"Through that experience, I know what the vendors are looking for when they support a retail/etail customer, and when I work with them in my new role, they will be getting that extra focus from someone who has held their position, and understands the channel.
"We will work hard to get a significant return on vendors’ investments, and extra focus will be given to brands that have supported us from the beginning."
Edwards has previously worked for Epson UK and Entatech.
"I was sad to leave Enta as Jon Atherton has built a great culture within the company," he added. "Hopefully they will continue to support me in my new role as I plan to engage with some of their key vendors, whose products I enjoy at home: Mionix, Fractal Design and Mad Catz to name a few."
Brunswick says it is ‘the only IT trade counter in Liverpool’ – a reseller/system builder that supplies ‘all markets’ including other resellers. It allows its local trade customers and end users to collect items from its premises, where it currently hold 10,000 products in stock for same-day collections.
Brunswick is also a member of buying group Network Group and supplied over £300 million of IT products and services last year.
