Google Glass gets World Cup score update

Google is set to implement a number of updates for its Glass wearable tech, including World Cup scores.

Once the Brazilian World Cup gets underway, Glass owners will be able to keep up with scores by setting up notifications on Google Now.

You can also choose your team and then receive the latest information on upcoming matches, matches in process and table standings.

Other updates to Glass include improvements to photo sharing. When taking a picture, Android users will be able to see it instantly on their smartphones.

Google’s Yury Pinsky also revealed in a blog that MyGlass for iOS is in the works.

Glass users who also drive will now be able to use the Parking Location update to follow a map back to where they last left their car.

Google is not the only tech company gearing up for the World Cup. Manufacturer Urban Revolt has introduced limited edition World Cup Lace In-ear headphones.

Available in the colours of the competing countries, they feature a shoelace designed, integrated microphone and an inline call pickup button.
