32-inch prototype display features a Quad HD resolution

Asus debuts ‘world’s largest’ curved monitor at Computex 2014

Asus has revealed a prototype of its 32-inch Quad HD curved monitor.

Described as ‘the world’s largest curved monitor’, the 16:9 widescreen display has a QHD resolution of 2560×1440, brightness of 250cd/m2 and connects via DisplayPort.

The arcing screen is sat atop a twisting metal stand, with the display panel also framed by a metal bezel.

While details on the prototype model are sparse at the moment, the monitor joins a raft of new products announced by Asus at Computex 2014, including the Zenbook NX500 laptop, the ‘world’s first five-in-one device’ – the Transformer Book V – a new generation of the Fonepad and another 32-inch monitor, the ProArt PA328Q Ultra HD display.
