"More interest is being shown by the public for business and residential monitoring"

Netbit acquires JBJ Surveillance, offers CCTV camera systems

Networking and cabling distributor Netbit has acquired JBJ Surveillance to add CCTV camera and system products to its portfolio.

Netbit – owned by vendor Dynamode – also distributes Dynamode products to the UK channel.

JBJ is a specialist distributor of a range of CCTV camera systems. It offers high performance CCTV systems and DVR counterparts including installed mass storage devices. The CCTV products range from internal and external (IP rated) high-resolution CCTV systems with day and night functionality.

PTZ (pan, tilt and zoom) versions are also available at what Netbit promises ‘a competitive price’. Also featured are both four and eight-channel CCTV systems which come complete with Ethernet (RJ45) and USB2.0 interfaces, allowing LAN or wider internet monitoring including high resolution image capture and alarm forwarding.

The DVR includes a large HDU which allows hours of data archiving and post operation playback.

"JBJ is a natural choice for Netbit because CCTV goes hand in hand with Netbit’s cabling sales," Dynamode’s Nick Beer told PCR.

"JBJ offers excellent pre and post sales support for the CCTV market, but more importantly this is ideal for PC, networking and general computing resellers since more and more interest is being shown by the general public for both business and residential monitoring."

JBJ Surveillance can be contacted on 02921 197004 or by emailing james@jbjd.co.uk.
