Devices with connectivity can be used to target BYOD firms, Brother advises resellers

Brother launches reseller-focused business machines

Brother UK has launched a range of new colour laser machines, which it says are designed to help resellers maximise their sales opportunities.

The L8000 range is targeted at businesses that print up to 2,000 pages a month, while the L9000 range is designed for users printing up to 5,000 pages a month.

The business colour range includes a range of connectivity options, including wireless and NFC, which allow users to print from cloud-based applications such as Apple AirPrint and Google Cloud Print.

Brother stated that devices with such connectivity can be utilised by resellers to appeal to businesses using BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) schemes.

The machines will also be added to Brother’s MPS portal for resellers.

Stuart Mabe, product manager at Brother UK, said: “The colour all-in-one market is going from strength to strength, especially in the 21–35 pages per minute markets. We’re seeing more and more businesses purchasing products that offer long-term value.

“97 per cent of our existing customers would recommend Brother so we’re in a great position to help resellers fully capitalise on the growth in the colour market.

“These new ranges have also enabled us to provide a much stronger cost per page and total cost of ownership than ever before and we believe they will be a key product in our MPS offering.”
