Exertis Micro-P begins supplying Viewsonic interactive displays

Distributor Exertis Micro-P has been appointed UK supplier of ViewSonic’s ViewBoard range of large format interactive screens.

This new product range is the latest in ViewSonic’s growing portfolio of digital signage/display products. ViewBoards are large-screen interactive displays that encourage participation and active learning for modern classrooms and meeting rooms.

The 55-inch, 65-inch, 70-inch and 84-inch touch screen displays are built with toughened glass screen and anti-scratch/anti-glare coating. Embedded with optional built-in Windows 8 PCs, they have multiple-touch, with up to six users able to interact at the same time. The ultra-reliable infrared optical touch technology provides a chalk and blackboard feel when in use.

ViewSonic’s interactive ViewBoard software allows the presenter to write, draw, save, and share content. It also features screen recording, magnifier and spotlight features for interactive office and classroom presentations. Documents from various sources such as PDF and PowerPoint can also be exported and shared.

The ViewBoards come with a three-year on-site warranty and a host of extended warranties.

Ian Aitken, Visual Business and AV General Manager at Exertis Micro-P, said: "We are pleased to now be stocking and selling Viewsonic’s range of interactive whiteboard products. We understand that this is a mature and crowded market and have taken our time to pick a product which we feel offers something new and intuitive. Viewsonic has an industry leading product that’s unbeatable value, a combination which any reseller will be attracted by."

Richard Carr, Head of Sales for Northern Europe at ViewSonic, added: “We are very excited to further strengthen our relationship with award winning distributor Exertis Micro-P. This adds to our already successful projector portfolio and will further strengthen both parties’ pro AV/digital signage offering."
