Samsung has unveiled a new smartphone that comes with a built-in projector.
The Galaxy Beam 2 is a mid-range Android 4.2 device with a 4.66-inch display, 1.2GHz quad-core CPU, 1GB of RAM and a tiny WVGA resolution projector.
The smartphone will be available in China. No international availability has been announced yet.
Samsung has announced something globally though. The firm will be holding a worldwide challenge for Gear 2 smartwatch app developers.
The prizes for the challenge amount to over $1.25 million, including a $100,000 cash prize, which will be awarded to the first place winner.
Developers can apply for the challenge by registering apps developed with Samsung’s free SDK from May 8th. More info can be found at the Samsung Developer Site.
