Office apps for iPad have been downloaded more than 12 million times in the space of a week, Microsoft has revealed.
This includes downloads of Word, Excel, Powerpoint and OneNote.
Office for iPad launched last week and soon went to the top of the App Store chart. It can be downloaded for free, but a subscription to Microsoft’s cloud-based Office 365 is required to edit or create new documents.
