Microsoft takes home this year’s Business/Utility Software Publisher award

PCR Awards 2014: Microsoft, Asus, TP-Link honoured in Vendor category

Microsoft beat some stiff competition to this year’s Business/Utility Software Publisher award, pipping the likes of BullGuard and Kaspersky Lab to the accolade.

EA took home the award for PC Games Publisher thanks to a strong set of releases in 2013 including Battlefield 4.

As for hardware, Turtle Beach was crowned Peripherals Vendor, while Asus was the winner of the Components Vendor award.

Lenovo celebrated as Computing Vendor (and picked up the Grand Prix award), and last but not least, TP-Link received this year’s Networking vendor award.

The Vendor Awards focus on the core of the industry – the manufacturers and publishers which create the very technology products that the trade works so hard to sell.

Recognition in the category is given for innovation, commercial success and support of the trade.
