A record number of exhibitors have signed up early for video game trade and consumer show Gamescom 2014 in Germany this year.
Around 50 per cent more exhibitors have confirmed their participation at the show, in comparison to last year’s early booking phase.
Several big PC game publishers, distributors, developers and vendors are on board, including Nvidia, Riot Games, Roccat, Caseking, EA and more.
Gamescom said in a statement: "Gamescom is once again underlining its worldwide unique position as the leading trade fair for digital games, which equally addresses both consumers and trade visitors.
"Consumers will have the opportunity for the first time in the world to try out gaming novelties directly. At the same time, Gamescom offers the trade audience the world’s largest business area for interactive entertainment software."
Gamescom 2014 takes place from August 13th to 17th this year at Koelnmesse in Cologne.
