New range includes folios, protection cases, armbands and charging solutions

Samsung Galaxy S5 cases unveiled by Belkin

Belkin has announced the first third-party cases and accessories for Samsung’s new flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S5.

The accessories range includes folios, protection cases, armbands and charging solutions.

Unveiled at this year’s Mobile World Congress, the Galaxy S5 features a fingerprint scanner that can be used to authorise PayPal transactions, as well as the usual function of unlocking the device.

The handset also features a 16MP camera with 4K video capabilities, 5.1-inch display, 2.5GHz Quad-Core processor, and 2GB of RAM.

The 2-in-1 Wallet Folio (£24.99, pictured above right) features Belkin’s new, detachable inner Xpose frame that can either slide up for taking photos or be removed all together for use as a separate protective case to make phone conversations easier.

There’s also the Classic Folio (£19.99), which converts into a stand and comes with a hard-shell frame with a microfiber-lined out cover.

For those needing more rugged protection, the Grip Extreme (£19.99) features dual-layer protection combining a rigid, glass-fibre reinforced inner skeleton and a flexible, shock-absorbing outer shell.

The Grip Vue (£17.99) is still shock-absorbent but doesn’t feature the inner ShocWave skeleton.

Belkin is also expanding its current line-up of sport armbands including the Sport-Fit (£17.99) and Slim-Fit (£19.99) for the Samsung Galaxy S5.

Also available for the Samsung Galaxy S5 are Belkin’s charging solutions for both the car and home.
