TP-LINK sponsors Call of Duty i51 esports tournament

Networking vendor TP-LINK is sponsoring the Call of Duty: Ghosts European Cup esports tournament at the Insomnia51 gaming event.

The tournament will be run by esports group TopMid and Insomnia will again be organised by Multiplay.

A statement on the Insomnia website read: "2013 was a great year for the growth of our console tournaments at Insomnia, and with the support of TP-LINK we plan to make it bigger, better, and bolder than ever before.

"With their investment in the Call of Duty community, the prizes for CoD at Insomnia51 will be a minimum of £5,000, plus a TP-LINK Archer series Dual-band Router Bundle for each winning team member."

Founded in 1999, for over 14 years the Insomnia Gaming Festival has been a place for gamers to congregate, socialise and play.

Insomnia51 will take place from April 18th to 21st at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena.
