Distributor Smithie UK has been granted permission from Samsung to process returns of SSD drives and optical drives from customers of KMS Components, which went into administration this month.
KMS was a distributor and Samsung partner, and going into administration has left many clients facing potential problems if they need to return any stock.
Shane Hilden, MD of Smithie UK, said: “The position many clients may find themselves in under these circumstances is not only unfortunate, but could be damaging to their business.
"We are pleased that given our strong relationship with Samsung, we are able to provide a facility for former KMS customers to return their SSDs or optical drives.”
