Adam Ashmore: "Ebuyer has been my life for the past 14 years"

Ebuyer co-founder departs business

Adam Ashmore, co-founder of online retailer Ebuyer.com, has departed the business after 14 years at the firm.

He was one of five co-founders who started the etailer back in 2000.

Ashmore, who was co-founder, web developer and IT director at the company, said: "Ebuyer has been my life for the last 14 years.

"From a small startup with just a handful of people working out of a garage, to one of the UKs largest e-commerce websites – Ebuyer has been an amazing journey.

"It has taken an enormous amount of hard work and passion, but it has been an incredible experience and often lots of fun.

"Some days we achieved great things, some days we made mistakes. You learn whatever you can from each new challenge and you try to surround yourself with brilliant colleagues who are willing to do the same.
Massive thanks to all of these friends – I’ve enjoyed working with you so much, and I’m proud of what we have created together.

"It’s been a difficult decision to leave Ebuyer, but it’s time for me to take a well earned holiday, then see what comes next… I especially owe thanks to all our customers over the years for helping to make Ebuyer such a huge success."
