Samsung Smartphone GamePad unveiled

Samsung has announced its upcoming Smartphone GamePad, designed for its line of Galaxy devices.

The Smartphone GamePad syncs up with devices via Bluetooth or NFC. It has a D-pad, two analogue sticks, two triggers and four action buttons.

A device can be attached to the GamePad via a clamp, meaning it can hold any compatible devices between four and 6.3-inches in size. It can also be connected to TVs via HDMI cable or AllShare Screen Mirroring.

At the moment there are 35 compatible games, including Need for Speed Most Wanted, Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour and Prince of Persia: The Shadow and the Flame.

Samsung’s Smartphone GamePad is available in selected European markets now and is set to launch in the UK in the ‘coming weeks’.
