An Xbox One plated in 24-carat gold has gone on sale in Harrods.
The London department store, renowned for some of its more unique products, is offering the luxurious games console for £6,000 – almost 14 times the Xbox One’s usual asking price of £429.
Inside of the Midas-touched chassis, which was posted on Reddit by user SirSyhn, is a machine matching the specifications of the sold-out standard console.
However, with Xbox One machines appearing on eBay for much higher asking prices as gamers scramble to grab one before Christmas, £6,000 might not be such a ridiculous price tag for dedicated fans.
Whether the machine includes Xbox Live Gold is unconfirmed.
