Harrods’ technology department – run by Dixons since 2012 – held an event on the evening of Thursday November 28th to show off the floor to press and other guests.
Dixons CEO Sebastian James described the store as "very successful".
"It’s a fantastic team here at Harrods, with incredibly sophisticated, clever and knowledgable people, in a highly concentrated market full of very affluent people," said James.
Products on show include the new Xbox One, 4K and curved OLED TVs, the Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch, and of course, a selection of premium-priced tech goods, from the £68,000 diamond and ruby-encrusted gold iPhone to the £20,000 Ferrari camera (of which only 400 have been made) and a £20,000 one-of-a-kind set of ‘Diamond Tears’ Monster headphones designed by Sally Sohn.
