Enhanced Wireless N Day/Night Home Network Camera performing well

D-Link IP surveillance sales rise 155%

D-Link is enjoying "significant growth" across its portfolio of IP surveillance/CCTV solutions for consumers and businesses.

In Q1 and Q2 this year (January to June), D-Link saw overall IP surveillance sales increase by over 155 per cent in comparison with the same period in 2012.

The key consumer products it has seen strong growth for this year are the DCS-942L Enhanced Wireless N Day/Night Home Network Camera (pictured), which has seen year-on-year growth at over 200 per cent, the DCS-932L Wireless N Day & Night Home Network Camera and the DCS-5222L Pan/Tilt/Zoom Cloud Camera – all of which offer night and day monitoring with email alerts when movement is detected.

D-Link says its products provide potentially lucrative new revenue streams for its resellers.

The firm’s Business Solutions Manager Andrew Mulholland told PCR: "Consumers are becoming increasingly tech-savvy and looking for innovative and cost-effective products to protect their homes and, in line with this, D-Link has developed a range of easy to use, highly specified IP cameras and storage devices which take advantage of mydlinkcloud, an easy way to access, manage, view and share via a computer, smartphone, or mobile device."

D-Link was recently showing off its range at the EntaLive at Fujitsu event (you can also view our image galleries here).
