Inori Aizawa is ‘the personification of IE’

Microsoft reveals official Internet Explorer anime

Microsoft has revealed an official anime ‘personification’ of Internet Explorer.

Inori Aizawa is being used by Microsoft to market the web browser to Asian countries, and will star in a video screened at the Anime Festival Asia in Singapore over the weekend.

On her Facebook page, the character urges people to think of her as “the personification of Internet Explorer”.

The character, who was created by the animation team at CACANi, is also shown sitting at her desk with a Microsoft Surface and Windows Phone in the background and asking: “See anything you like?”

A special ‘Inori version’ of IE will also be released via the Facebook page, which currently has over 26,000 likes. A Skydrive full of “goodies” has already been released.

Ahead of the festival screening, a short teaser starring the curly-haired character has been released, showing her transforming into a Windows logo-adorned costume to fight off evil robots with lasers.
