Instant cloud gaming tech to be showcased in the Nordic Games booth

Lag-free Cloud technology to debut at MCM London Comic Con

Approxy will demonstrate its lag-free Cloudpaging technology this weekend at the MCM London Comic Con.

The cloud gaming provider will integrate the technology into Nordic Games’ title Deadfall Adventures (pictured), and will demonstrate the tech at the publisher’s booth – stand 091 – at the event, which runs from today (October 25th) until Sunday (October 27th).

Approxy’s system aims to provide streaming of games without the need for installation over slower connections, and is claimed to work with existing periperhals, plug-ins and mods.

“The possibilities Approxy’s system presents opens up the world of gaming to an audience previously excluded by inferior internet speeds,” said Nik Blower, PR, Marketing & Franchise Director at Nordic Games.

“This is very clever tech working to broaden the whole audience and we’re proud to be supporting Approxy in reaching their goals.”

“Our white-label offering is built on the industry’s most advanced, 4th generation Cloudpaging technology, which is more network efficient, scalable and inexpensive than all previous ‘Cloud Gaming 1.0’ options,” said Bartu Ahiska, COO of Approxy.

“Users are able to play games quickly, without install, without patching, over limited unreliable connections, or even when offline.”

Deadfall Adventures will be released for PC and Xbox 360 on November 15th.
