Mobile Fun – an online tech retailer that stocks some 7,000 smartphone and tablet accessories – will launch its own distribution business in early 2014.
The firm said in a statement that the UK market "presents the most immediate opportunity", but it is also targeting international retailers.
The new distribution business will focus on up-and-coming brands from Mobile Fun’s network of suppliers and manufacturers, and will also promote the company’s own-brand products.
Mobile Fun generates over three million monthly visits and has more than 60,000 customer product reviews across its websites. This year the group announced record turnover and profits, with an online presence in 31 countries and retail sales of £11.5 million.
Mobile Fun has also picked up several accolades including Online Retailer of the Year at the Mobile News Awards 2011 and 2012. It is also shortlisted in the What Mobile and Retail Week Enterprise Awards 2013.
